Additional tips for users of screen readers
Overview of navigation
The main navigation consists of ten links located down the left of every page on the site: Courses; Apply Here; Store; Testimonials; Useful Links; FAQ; News & Events; Vacancies; The Team; Contact Us. The Home page can be accessed by clicking on the MIL logo in the header.
In the right-hand corner at the very top of every page you will find a further set of links to the sitemap, our terms & conditions, privacy policy, and accessibility information.
The member login area is located on the top right. If you are logged in, this area will contain links applicable to members only: the member welcome page, course materials, and job listings.
Skip links
Throughout the site, there are special links that allow you to skip past sections of the page. This can be useful when pages contain repeated content and links, such as the main navigation links.
Improving readability
You may wish to improve the readability of the pages by changing your browser settings. For example:
- increase the browser font size or increase the zoom
- switch off images
- change background and text colours.
