Chris broke into radio in 1994 when he ventured in to the world of voice overs at dance station Kiss 102
'The Essential Rhythm of Manchester'.
Over a two year period, he had voiced and produced over eighty commercials and jingles for the station. In 1997, Kiss became Galaxy 102, however; Chris continued in his role as voice over artist and as producer of Nev Johnson's Up All Night show.
Since then, he has hosted prime-time radio shows and live broadcasts from around the world including Hollywood, California where he hosted a show which was beamed live to Pulzar FM in Christchurch, New Zealand and then around the world via the Internet.
During the days of Infect'ive, Chris hosted a weekly syndicated
and award-winning show on seventy-five stations globally,
reaching audiences of over 2.2 million listeners per month.
This was broadcast on multiple platforms from AM, FM, DAB, Cable, Internet and Satellite radio.

Chris joined Salford Community Radio (SCR) over ten years ago,
in 2001 where he initially volunteered in a tech-support role. Over the four years which followed, he was involved in presenting, producing and training DJs on all 7 short-term broadcasts SCR ran.
Thanks to the support of local people, SCR was granted a five year license in 2005, whilst Chris was appointed as Station Manager of SCR's Angel Internet Radio. The station; renamed as 94.4FM Salford City Radio launched two years later, and Chris was hired as Studio Manager.
Chris is now the Station Manager at SCR, where he looks after
day-to-day running of the station, fundraising, training, publicity, recruitment, manages four studios and over one-hundred and fifty volunteers and freelance staff. It is a very demanding yet enjoyable and rewarding role. One which has enabled him to train budding presenters whom have gone on to secure jobs with XFM, CBBC, Key 103 and BBC Radio Manchester.
Chris is fortunate to have been able to interview many well-known TV personalities over the past few years. Have a listen to some of the interviews here, some of which were co-hosted by former CITV presenter Danielle Nicholls.
